What is USDZ?
USDZ packs a Universal Scene Description stage and its textures into one uncompressed zip archive. Pixar created USD; Apple and Pixar introduced the USDZ package for augmented reality.
Apple platforms open USDZ files directly: AR Quick Look in Safari, Messages and Files places a model in the room without an app.
