About these terms

facet64 ("we", "us") runs facet64.com. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These terms cover the website. What you may do with a model's files is set by that model's license (see "Models and licenses").

Using facet64 without an account

You can browse the catalog, preview models in 3D, use our tools and download free models without an account. All models are currently free. If we add paid models, we will publish separate terms for purchases first.

Accounts

An account is optional. It lets you save models and packs, make lists and see your download history.

• You sign in with Google or GitHub; we do not store passwords. Google's or GitHub's own terms apply to their sign-in.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google or GitHub account secure.
• You can change your name, download your data or delete your account at any time in Settings.

Models and licenses

• Every model page shows the model's license, a plain-language "Can I…?" table and a link to the full license text. Downloads include LICENSE.txt and README.txt.
• The license of each model governs how you may use it. The summaries and tables are a guide; the official license text is what applies.
• If a license requires credit (for example CC BY 4.0), credit the author as it requires. The model page and the README give a ready-made attribution line.
• Specs such as triangle counts, dimensions and texture sizes are computed automatically from the files. We work to keep them accurate, but check that a model fits your project before you ship it.
• Origin labels (Handmade, AI-assisted, AI-generated, Scan) are explained in our Content Policy.
• We check the license of every third-party model before publishing and link to the original, but we cannot guarantee that no model infringes someone else's rights. If you find a problem, please report it.

The site itself

The facet64 name and logo, and the site's design, software and texts (including articles and guides), belong to facet64 or its licensors. Model licenses cover model files only. You may link to any public page, but do not copy or republish the site itself beyond what the law allows.

Acceptable use

Do not:

• download or copy the catalog in bulk with bots or scripts in a way that loads the service, or try to get around download limits or time-limited download links;
• try to access accounts, data or admin areas that are not yours, or probe, scan or disrupt the service's security;
• use the Request a model or Report forms for spam, abuse or claims you know are false;
• use the site for anything unlawful.

We limit how often one network can download files or send forms. If you reach a limit, wait and try again.

Lists and other content you add

You can set a display name and create lists with titles and notes.

• Lists are private by default. If you turn on Public link, anyone with the link can view and download the list. Your name appears there only if you turn on Show my name. Turning the link off disables it; turning it on again creates a new link.
• You are responsible for what you write. Do not include other people's personal data or anything unlawful.
• You allow us to store and show this content only as needed to run these features. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

Availability and changes to the service

facet64 is a free service. We may add, change, pause or remove features and models at any time, and the site may sometimes be unavailable. A model may be removed later, for example after a rights claim, so keep your own copies of files you rely on.

Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, the site, the models and all information on the site are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, compatibility with any engine or tool, uninterrupted availability and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, facet64 is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the site or any model, or from being unable to use them.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or affects consumer rights that cannot be waived.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using facet64 at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or delete an account, remove content or block access if someone breaks these terms or harms the service or other people. Models you have already downloaded stay covered by their own licenses.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service or the law changes. The date at the bottom of this page shows the latest version. If you keep using facet64 after a change, the new terms apply.
