Cookie Policy
facet64 uses a few cookies and browser storage entries to keep you signed in and remember your settings, and none for advertising or tracking.
No tracking cookies
Our analytics (Umami, hosted on our own server) work without cookies. We use no advertising or social media cookies.
Cookies we set
f64_session— Keeps you signed in. Set only when you sign in; page scripts cannot read it. Lasts 14 days, or until you sign out.f64_signed_in— Tells the page you are signed in. Contains no personal data. Lasts 14 days, or until you sign out.f64-hide-ai— Remembers the "Hide AI-generated" catalog setting. Lasts 1 year.f64-density— Remembers the catalog grid density. Lasts 1 year.f64-filters-panel— Remembers whether the filter panel is open. Lasts 1 year.
The first two are strictly necessary for signing in. The other three are set only when you change that setting.
Staff only. Staff signing in to the admin area also get payload-token (admin sign-in, about 2 hours), admin preference cookies such as payload-theme, and a preview cookie for unpublished pages.
Cookies from others
- Our content delivery network, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary security cookies, for example to tell people from bots.
- The sign-in window is run by Google Firebase with Google or GitHub, which may set their own cookies under their policies. On facet64.com, Firebase keeps sign-in data only in memory until we set our session cookie.
Browser storage
Some settings stay in your browser's storage. They are not sent to us.
f64-theme— Light or dark theme. Kept until you clear it.f64-viewer— 3D viewer scene, view mode and wireframe. Kept until you clear it.f64-format— Your last download format. Kept until you clear it.f64-tool-polygon-budget,f64-tool-texel-density,f64-tool-uv-checker,f64-tool-glb-compressor— Your last values or options in each tool. Kept until you clear it.f64-filter-history— The order you added filters, for "Remove last filter". Kept until you close the tab.f64-engine— The engine page you came from, to suggest a format. Kept until you close the tab.
Your choices
Every cookie we set is needed for a feature you use or remembers a choice you made, so we do not ask for cookie consent. You can block or delete cookies and storage in your browser. Without f64_session you cannot sign in; clearing the rest resets your settings. Downloads work either way.
