What the facet64 catalog contains, how each model is licensed and labeled, and how to report a problem with a model.

What the catalog contains

facet64 is a catalog of game-ready 3D models and packs. Our processing pipeline computes each model's specs (triangles, dimensions, textures, checks) from the file itself, and every model has a live 3D preview and free downloads in several formats. Models are made by the facet64 team or come from third-party creators whose licenses we have checked.

Licenses

Every model page shows its license, a plain-language "Can I…?" table and a link to the official text. Each download includes LICENSE.txt and a README.txt with the author and a link back to the model.

We do not accept licenses that forbid commercial use or changes, require sharing under the same license, or allow editorial use only.

Before publishing a third-party model, we check the license at the original source and keep a link to it, a copy of its license page and the check date. The model page credits the author, links to the original and shows the check date, for CC0 models too.

Origin labels

Every model has one of four origin labels, set by our team:

Turn on Hide AI-generated in the catalog to leave those models out. If a label looks wrong, please report it.

What we don't publish

Reporting a problem

Use Report this model on any model page, or the report form. Choose a reason: copyright infringement, wrong license, wrong origin label, broken file or inappropriate content.

Tell us what is wrong and where. For a copyright claim, link to the original work and confirm that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them. We need your email to contact you about the report; your name is optional. You can also write to [email protected].

What happens next

  1. Your report goes to our moderation queue, and a moderator reviews it.
  2. If a copyright claim or another serious problem looks valid, we can hide the model right away: it leaves the catalog and search, downloads stop, and its address redirects to its category page.
  3. We fix wrong labels, license details and broken files.
  4. We may write to the email address in your report about it.
  5. If a model was hidden by mistake, we restore it. Think we got it wrong? Write to us.

Hiding a model stops new downloads from facet64, but it cannot remove copies people downloaded earlier. We may ignore spam and reports we believe are knowingly false.
